Easy, basic beef gravy. I use leftover roast. Or if there is left over steak, I mince it and freeze it until there is enough for this gravy. Spices you might want to add include Pepper, salt and tumeric. Onion and Garlic are also good.

Ingredients
Use 1 cup of leftover beef bits - Shredded or minced - roast is great
Use 3 cups beef broth - I usually use the extra roast broth, defatted
1 cup regular evaporated milk
3 tablespoons starch

Directions
Bring the meat and broth to a boil. When it is boiling, whisk the starch into the milk. SLOWLY Add it to the boiling meat and broth. Stir the entire time. Bring back to boil. When it thickens, it is done.

Makes 16 servings of about 1/3 cup each
